Megabangna Makes Progress With Sustainability Policies

The Bangna-based megamall, Megabanga, has transformed their sustainability policies for the past eight years.

Now, representatives have discussed their plans to inspire other projects to follow in their footsteps. Megabangna shopping centre has a budget of 1 million baht to achieve its goals.

They decided to invest the money in different schemes, which include adding more green spaces, implement energy conservation policies, and incorporate eco-friendly operations to fulfil every customer’s needs without harming the planet.

Representatives believe it is still a difficult challenge to tackle.

Nowadays, to achieve essential sustainability goals, businesses need to cooperate with communities. Thus, Megabangna needed to involve surrounding communities for their projects to make progress.

Thankfully, they have been able to do so.

Ms. Paphitchaya Suwandee, Managing Director of Megabangna shopping center, wants to encourage other businesses to do the same.

Although Megabangna has for now achieved sustainability goals, it has been eight-years in the works. It did not happen overnight.

The Managing Director believes that the most important thing is to add value to every choice they make at management level, so that they can meet customers’ needs.

Besides, working with other brands and businesses is also crucial to the process.

Megabangna would like to improve all operations: they have worked hard to increase efficiency, collaborate with partners and create an amazing shopping experience, and set new goals every time they have the chance to do so.

Thanks to their hard work, they are now able to set an example for other businesses.
