Responding to modern trends and teaching/learning needs amid a mandatory social distancing, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit has announced its first online French-style cuisine and pastry demonstration classes.
Through a live streaming system, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School has developed French cooking and pastry demonstration lessons, aligning with Le Cordon Bleu’s global learning approach (Watch, Learn and Do).
Thanks to this innovative initiative, students will be able to watch demonstrations while learning cooking techniques and practicing at home with exclusive easy-to-make recipes from Chef Instructors, which include information on selected easy-to-buy raw materials.
Le Cordon Bleu Dusit organized its first live broadcast of a cooking demonstration on August 31 this year. Chef Niruch Chotwatchara, the Pastry Chef instructor along with the chef’s assistant team, honored the academy’s essence and history with an impeccable performance of modern cuisine.
In the demonstration, based on the Ice Pop technique, students learned about the different steps and methods to make four delicious ice cream flavors, including Cheesecake Pop, Lemon Cream Pop, Orange Earl Gray, and Chocolate Fudge.
Subsequently, on September 2, 2021, Chef David Gee, Cuisine Chef Instructor together with the chef’s assistant team, embarked on the demonstrations and also honored the culinary school with their first-class knowledge in the different techniques and procedures to make Chicken, Mushroom and Tarragon Fricassee, and Bulgur Wheat Pilaf served with Green Beans.
Following the same concept as the other Le Cordon Bleu school networks in Europe, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit offers French cuisine and pâtisserie curricula.
Moreover, the school became the first Le Cordon Bleu campus to offer a full-time course on professional Thai cuisine, perfectly complementing the French culinary programs.
