Segafredo Zanetti Thailand Marks Italian National Day

Segafredo Zanetti Thailand joined a host of celebrities and influencers to mark the Italian National Day with the “Italian Taste Journey: Celebrating the Authentic Taste of Italy” culinary and cultural event.

In a collaboration between the Italian government and Italian brands in Thailand, Italy’s espresso leader Segafredo Zanetti Thailand teamed up with the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) and the International School of Italian Cuisine (ALMA) to celebrate the Italian Day National on June 1, 2022, one day before the official date.

The event included a workshop focused on Italian coffee culture and the unique characteristics of the classic Italian espresso, unveiling great details on its growing, harvesting and roasting before going through extraction, processing and final consumption.

The “Italian Coffee Journey” workshop welcomed celebrities and influencers like Thai acting star Natouch “Fluke” Siripongthon.

Those who participated in the activity had the opportunity to make and taste the authentic Italian espresso with Premium Segafredo Zanetti coffee beans, enjoying its delicious taste and captivating smell.

Segafredo also joined the KCG Corporation bakeries and surprised attendees with exquisite specialties like espresso rice with risotto. Living up to its slogan “Vero Espresso Italiano,” the brand conveyed authentic Italian coffee culture.

The event brought together various leading Italian food and beverage brands in Thailand, hoping to draw the Thai public’s attention to build a wider audience for food and beverage, thereby expanding the market.

Segafredo Zanetti is an Italian-based coffee roasting company founded in the 1970s in Bologna. Although its expansion began in southern Europe, the brand gradually conquered international markets, including Thailand’s.

With an extensive catalog, Segafredo distributes a wide variety of coffee products, including coffee beans, ground coffee, coffee capsules, soluble coffee, decaffeinated coffee, and espresso, among others.

On June 1, it marked the National Italian Day or Festa Della Repubblica, a celebration that honors Italian culture in the kingdom.
