Thonglor Thai Cuisine Welcomes Festive Season With Gift Boxes

As the celebrations season approaches, Thonglor Thai Cuisine’s chef has meticulously crafted an exquisite and assorted selection of Thai desserts that are perfect for gifting.

Thonglor Thai Cuisine’s handmade desserts are not only delicious but eye-pleasing, as they are packaged beautifully in a wooden box decorated with fresh flowers to impress loved ones.

The first gift features crunchy goodies with baked golden threads made with drizzled egg yolks and is perfect to be served at weddings or special celebratory fairs. Besides having a meaning of longevity, gold threads are believed to give good luck to newlyweds for hassle-free sailing.

The Thai dessert assortment also includes soft, crispy rolls with Portuguese culinary influences that signify prosperity. For those who want good fortune, it also has some Thai shortbread cookies that perfectly convey good wishes to those who try them.

All desserts, which can last up to a month stored in the fridge, should be ordered at least one or two days in advance.

In the next set, people can find the sweet treats “Golden Turtle,” symbolizing longevity. It also includes “Golden Threads” for good fortune, as well as “Thong Ake,” which means wealth in Thai, “Sanae Chan,” which gives the meaning of charm like moonlight, and “Cha Mongkut,” which symbolizes leadership.

Customers who want to purchase these desserts, beautifully packaged in a wooden box with fresh flowers, should place their orders at least two or three days in advance.

Thonglor Thai Cuisine’s gift sets are available until January 5, 2022, with prices ranging from 600 to 3500 baht.

Those who want to complement the delicious desserts with a savory alternative can order the restaurant’s recent addition: homemade chili paste. The impressive dish has been added to their gift list and is available for 2500 baht.

It is made from young tamarind paste with crispy fish, chili pepper paste and mamard mad, each packed in a glass jar and accompanied with a garnish of fresh vegetables.

The chili paste, which can last up to a week if kept refrigerated, can be ordered at least three days in advance.
