PAUL Thailand Marks Bastille Day With a Range of Exclusive Menus

PAUL Thailand is celebrating Bastille Day, which falls on July 14, by introducing a selection of exclusive menu items for patrons to indulge in. Also known as the French National Day, this event commemorates the Storming of the Bastille in 1789, a key moment that marked the starting point of the French Revolution and ultimately the fall of the French monarchy​.

While the occasion is usually remembered with fireworks and military parades, there is no better way to celebrate than by feasting on some epic foods. Therefore, PAUL Thailand is the perfect place to head to if you would like to savour authentic French-inspired cuisine.

Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a plethora of dishes that the renowned bakery-café chain has meticulously curated, as well as special menus crafted in collaboration with the acclaimed premium sausage brand BUCHER, to honour this year’s Bastille Day festivities.

Enjoy Special PAUL x BUCHER Dishes Until September 30

PAUL is renowned for its artisan bread, pastries, and sandwiches created using traditional baking techniques and top-quality ingredients. With over 134 years of culinary excellence, the chain boasts more than 750 outlets across the world, and eight branches in Thailand.

This year’s Bastille Day menu includes three special PAUL x BUCHER items available until the end of September. A top highlight is the Bucher Truffle Sausage Pasta, can be seen in the first of the two photos below, fairly priced at THB 360 – the dish comprises of Bucher truffle sausage, together with a pork sauce, Italian basil, truffle oil, and parmesan cheese.

Also worth trying is the Bucher Double Cheese Croissant, a butter croissant stuffed full of succulent Bucher toasted bacon, emmental and mozzarella cheese, and béchamel sauce complemented by cherry tomatoes and mixed greens, affordably priced at only THB 230.

Patrons can also order the Bucher Kurobuta Sausage Burger, as seen in the second of the photos above, modestly priced at THB 390. This satisfying dish features flavourful Bucher Kurobuta pork sausage, cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard mayo, red pepper, grilled onions, and a perfectly-cooked fried egg, accompanied by a big portion of delicious French fries.

In addition to the PAUL x BUCHER menus, there are other sensational offerings for guests to sample. For seafood lovers, the Croque Salmon is a great choice, consisting of toasted pain de mie bread, salmon, emmental cheese and béchamel sauce, offered for THB 320.

Other menus include the Foie Gras Framboise featuring toasted brioche smoothly topped with pan-seared duck foie gras, balsamic glaze and raspberry sauce for THB 690. Canard A L’Orange is also splendid: the roasted duck breast in a tangy orange sauce is THB 420.

Celebrate This Year’s French National Day in Style at PAUL

Another menu item that customers are going to love is the yummy Cordon Bleu De Poulet as shown in the photo right above, priced at THB 395. It features breaded chicken breast, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and chili mayo, paired with French fries and green salad.

Those with a sweet tooth are in for a treat, as PAUL Thailand has also unveiled an array of irresistibly scrumptious delights. The Blueberry Cheesecake, which is THB 220, combines cream cheese and sugar on a crumbly graham cracker crust, elegantly topped with sweet and slightly tart blueberry sauce, making it an outstanding delicacy to round off any meal.

If you’re crazy about matcha, PAUL’s Croissant Matcha Cream is an absolute must-try. This exquisite creation gives you the chance to have two lots of matcha cream, with the inside of the croissant packed full of the cream, and the outside coated in it: a steal at THB 135.

Meanwhile, the Strawberry Tiramisu showcased in the photo above is made with layers of soft ladyfingers soaked in strawberry syrup, rich mascarpone cream, and fresh strawberry slithers, offering a sweet and creamy texture that melts in your mouth and costs THB 235.
