Central Pattana plc reaffirms its commitment to the sports community by transforming nine of its branches into extreme sports hotspots.
The operator of centralwOrld, CentralPlaza, CentralFestival, Central Phuket, and Central Village revealed that it has been reusing the open spaces in front of some of its shopping centers to promote ideal sports spaces to the surf skater community.
Nine Central Pattana branches are serving this purpose across the country.
These include centralwOrld, CentralPlaza WestGate, Lardprao, Bangna, Salaya, Nakhon Ratchasima, Rayong, Lampang, Chiangrai, Phitsanulok, Chonburi, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, CentralFestival Chiangmai, Hatyai, Samui, Pattaya Beach, Central Marina, Central Phuket, and Central Village.
The brand has worked hard to keep up with the sports trends of the generation.
To do so, it has supported the use of large and safe spaces in front of nineteen of its shopping centers nationwide for extreme sports, such as surf-skate, skateboarding, rollerblading, and longboarding. According to Dr. Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, Executive Vice President of Marketing of Central Pattana, central shopping centers have promoted themselves as centers of life.
Its goal is to create a free-of-charge, local sports community where Central Pattana is located.
But the brand is not only providing spaces but also training. It offers players services that include workshops with surf skate gurus and free rental of equipment, as well as drinking water, free Wi-Fi, and parking.
Lovers of extreme sports can visit centralwOrld for free from now until March 31, from 16:00 to 21:00, to enjoy all sports activities.
Besides, CentralPlaza Lardprao became a free space available every day between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for all athletes.
