Bangkok is set to celebrate its rich cultural heritage with the grand Water Festival 2025, scheduled to take place across 12 venues from April 12-15.
Themed “Great Songkran, Great Fun,” the festival invites both local and international guests to partake in a vibrant celebration that highlights traditional Thai customs.
The centerpiece of the festival is a water procession featuring revered Buddha statues from five royal temples.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to pass through a holy water tunnel and engage in the traditional ritual of pouring water over Buddha statues, a gesture of respect and blessing for the new year.

Attendees can enjoy traditional Muay Talay and Muay Tap Chak, watch exciting rounds of Sepak Takraw, witness skilled Thai sword fighting, and engage in strategic games of Thai chess.
Each activity is designed to offer a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Thai culture.
