Central Pattana Expands Across Thailand With Landmark Projects

Bangkok is set for a major transformation following Central Pattana’s unveiling of its latest project called “Pioneering Growth & Beyond”. The retail giant has high hopes for this new central business district (CBD) on Phaholyothin Road, with The Central due to open in Q4 2026, preparing to bring flagship stores from esteemed global brands to the Thai capital.

Nationwide, 30 mixed-use developments are moving forward, including Central Northville in Nonthaburi, Central Khonkaen Campus, and Central Chiangmai Airport’s expansion. All of these initiatives prioritize shopping, living, and working spaces to fuel regional growth.

Central Pattana’s commitment to invest over 120 billion baht into new developments over the next five years highlights its strength. By centring on sustainability, community efforts, and The 1 loyalty platform, the company is influencing future lifestyles across the country.

The Central will be situated in the Phaholyothin area, north of Bangkok, and is set to open in late 2026, growing alongside the existing Central Ladprao shopping mall with 460,000 square meters of retail space on 49 rai. As demand rises in the city’s northern district, the project is expected to become a major landmark, elevating commerce and development.

Central Park is part of the 46 billion baht mixed-used project Dusit Central Park, which will host a state-of-the-art mall, as well as an office building, hotel, and residences. It opens in August, located on a 440,000 square meter site at the corner of Silom and Rama 4 Road.

Another project drawing a lot of interest is Central Phuket’s expansion, due to be finished in Q3 2026. Central Pattana has invested 3 billion baht into this luxury development, with 20,000 square meters of retail space due to be added to the existing shopping complex.

The celebrated business leader also outlined her company’s commitment to growing with its patrons, partners, employees, and communities, over the last 45 years. In this time, the head of Thailand’s largest retail property developer believes the remarkable success was aided by: best location, best catchment analysis, best master planning, and best partners.

Residents of Krabi and neighbouring provinces are excited about the upcoming launch of Central Krabi, in a region famed for its sublime beaches and natural wonders. Set to open in October, the development will feature a shopping mall covering 47,500 square meters.

Central Chiangmai Airport is a major redevelopment project that Central Pattana hopes to align with the city’s rapid expansion. It is set to debut in Q2 2026, upgrading the complex into a modern lifestyle hub with new retail, dining, and leisure facilities for all generations.

The elegant Central Khonkaen Campus is also scheduled to open in Q2 2026 and covers 67,000 square meters, bringing upscale stores, a GO! hotel, and sought-after condo units to the heart of the province. In addition, the new Central Northville, located on the former Central Rattanathibet site, will span 210,000 square meters when it debuts early in 2026.
