The Em Market Hall, located on the ground floor of the EMSPHERE shopping mall, has been transformed into a European Christmas market for the “Gourmet Winter Wondersquare 2024.” The market is open daily from 10am to 10pm, starting now and continuing through January 5.
Under the theme “Gourmet Winter Flavour Street,” the event celebrates the Em District’s first anniversary with a year-end festival showcasing over 200 delectable offerings from Gourmet Market and 45 vendors, along with gifts and festive decorations.
The venue is adorned with snow-draped red buildings and sparkling lights, offering a mix of sweet and savoury treats, as well as beverages from renowned vendors, including exclusive festival creations.
Special items include sugar-free Dubai chocolate from EMIEs.BKK, Khamwan’s meringue rice puffs—a unique blend of sweet meringue and crispy rice—and a milk slurpee from the beloved Mother Cows in Hat Yai.
Other treats feature Japanese-imported candy apples by Yaorin and Siam Holic Rocky Mallows, a hot chocolate drink topped with burnt marshmallows and served in a festive cup by the acclaimed Chocoholic.
Additional highlights include strawberry cheesecake draped in rich Belgian chocolate sauce from Layers, a five-layer banoffee pie from Jo’s Banoffee, customizable sandwiches from Burnt, a fusion pasta dish from Lou Lou Cafe, authentic Italian pizzas from Alola Pizza, and savory gyoza from Mamafu.
The festival also features a series of performances and music, including street acts every weekend and Christmas carols on December 24 and 25.
