The Goethe-Institut Thailand is set to host the German Christmas Market 2025, inviting the public to immerse themselves in festive cheer on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30, from noon to 10pm.
Organised in collaboration with the Thai-German Cultural Foundation, the event brings one of Germany’s most cherished traditions to the heart of Bangkok.
With more than 50 booths, visitors can enjoy the Christmas ambience, discover new cultural experiences and meet others celebrating the season.
A large Christmas tree will serve as the centrepiece of the venue, surrounded by German Nutcracker sculptures made entirely from recycled materials.
Created by Thai artist Thanawat Maneenawa, the installation highlights the power of creativity in giving discarded items a new purpose.
Seasonal treats will be served by both German and Thai restaurants, featuring mulled wine, artisan bread and a variety of European Christmas dishes.
Highlights include Bavarian roast pork, Berlin Döner kebab, sausages, German bakery items, ice cream and more. Drinks will include beer from Hofbräu München and Singha, along with cocktails crafted by Mampe Berlin.
A packed programme will cater to all ages, offering live music from bands and family-friendly activities. Visitors can take part in workshops to make Christmas decorations and other handmade crafts.
Unique gifts, jewellery and artisanal items will also be available, reflecting the shopping spirit that Christmas markets are known for.
This year’s highlight will be a raffle draw with a wide range of prizes, including travel vouchers for round-trip flights between Thailand and Germany, as well as free German language courses.
Entry is priced at 100 baht, or 120 baht for one adult with up to five children under 12. Admission includes participation in the raffle with simple and free registration.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online via ticketmelon.com. With festive food, live music, workshops and prizes, this Christmas market promises to deliver a joyful weekend for all.
