Hello Kitty celebrates her 50th birthday this year and is currently in town alongside a host of her cherished companions to delight Thai fans with two outstanding exhibitions running until November 10 at CentralWorld Pulse, located on the 8th floor of CentralWorld.
Marking the first such event in both Thailand and globally, the exhibition honours the iconic white cat with a red bow, who has been a source of joy for families for five decades, set within a festive atmosphere at the “Hello Kitty Exhibition: Celebration of Friendship.”
The exhibition offers a visually captivating experience with mapping projections and a vibrant palette of colours, creating an endearing journey into a realm of imagination that celebrates friendship, love, and a plethora of surprises.
Visitors will see Hello Kitty in a charming traditional Thai outfit, discover her fascinating tales, and participate in a variety of interactive activities, highlighting her status as a beloved cartoon figure from Japan.
Over at the “Sanrio Characters: Funtastic Exhibition,” Hello Kitty’s delightful Sanrio friends are set to capture hearts with their irresistible charm.
It’s an exciting celebration where Kuromi and My Melody join forces with six engaging characters from Hapidanbui—Tuxedosam, Hangyodon, Pochacco, Keroppi, Bad Badtz-Maru, and Pekkle—inviting guests to immerse themselves in interactive displays, dance to vibrant music, and partake in engaging activities.
Another feature to look forward to is the “Funtastic Exhibition Cafe,” where Casa Lapin, a renowned specialty coffee chain, offers exclusive themed beverages and treats, alongside collectible cup sleeves featuring unique designs.
Exclusive merchandise and souvenirs specifically designed to commemorate Hello Kitty’s 50th birthday are available for sale only at the exhibitions.
Entry to each exhibition costs 590 baht for a one-hour session, with nine sessions offered daily from 11:30 am, concluding with the final round at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available for purchase at icvticket.com.
