Iconic Halfmoon Festival Brings Renowned DJs to Koh Phangan

Thailand’s world-famous Halfmoon Festival is returning to Koh Phangan with a line-up of international talent and a fresh series of bi-weekly jungle shows running through December.

Established more than two decades ago, the festival has grown into a global bucket-list destination, merging electronic music culture with local creativity, spectacular visual displays, and spiritual celebration.

Known for its distinctive two-day format and large-scale, high-definition production, the Halfmoon Festival has built a reputation as one of the most immersive dance music experiences in the world.

Festivities begin at Harmony Beach Club, where the first night welcomes festival-goers with beachside beats, fire performances, and pool parties. Sunset cocktails, live shows, and games create a laid-back tropical vibe against the backdrop of the Gulf of Thailand.

The second night shifts to the Magical Forest, a surreal setting surrounded by palms and jungle canopy.

Three custom-built stages, The Prime Stage, G Floor, and The Cave, host an eclectic mix of sounds, from techno and psytrance to house, hip-hop, indie, and experimental live sets.

The production is further elevated by fire shows, LED visuals, and immersive staging, creating a rave atmosphere unique to the island.

This year’s line-up features Whiteno1se, Blazy, Querox Berg, Ghost Rider, Blastoyz, Silver Panda, Mr. Black, Blanka, Ranji, Tezla, Reality Test, Ira, Tali Muss, Don’t Blink, Dirty Andy, and Javier Gonzalez.

Beyond the music, Koh Phangan offers more than 2,000 places to stay, ranging from beachfront bungalows to luxury resorts.

Visitors can also explore wellness retreats, hiking trails, waterfalls, and local markets. The island is accessible by daily ferries from Koh Samui and flights via Surat Thani and Samui Airport.
