IKEA Thailand is introducing a new Swedish-style menu bursting with creativity and exciting flavors, featuring the innovative Meatball Ice Cream — a playful twist that transforms IKEA’s classic meatball dish into a delightful dessert.
The new menu also includes seven savory snack options, such as multigrain bread served with marinated salmon and mozzarella, and soft buns filled with scrambled eggs and cheese.
IKEA is further rolling out eight new ice cream flavors, including highlights like Pistachio Chocolate Chip and Butter Scotch Almond Caramel.
All these new items will be available at the IKEA Swedish Café and the Ice Cream Shop at IKEA Bangna on the G floor, starting March 20, 2025, offering customers a fresh way to experience Swedish cuisine.
Britt Geldof, Food Manager at IKEA Bangna, shared, “At IKEA, we are committed to continually developing new menus that not only reflect the unique taste of Swedish cuisine but also bring creativity and variety to the table.”
“Our new offerings blend the simplicity of Swedish food with inventive flavors, like the Meatball Ice Cream, which truly captures the essence of IKEA,” he added.
“On top of that, we focus on healthier choices, such as multigrain bread with marinated salmon and mozzarella cheese, made with high-quality ingredients to deliver nutritional value. We hope these new dishes will offer customers a fun and memorable dining experience at IKEA.”
Some standout items on the new menu include the Meatball Ice Cream, priced at THB 99.
This creative dessert draws inspiration from IKEA’s famous meatball dish, featuring rich chocolate-flavored ice cream topped with chocolate sauce. It transforms a familiar savory favorite into a sweet treat, offering a delightful and unexpected twist with every bite.
The Multigrain Bread served with Marinated Salmon and Mozzarella Cheese is also worth trying, priced at THB 169.
This multigrain baguette is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, paired with IKEA’s signature smoked salmon and complemented by mozzarella cheese for a chewy texture that creates a well-balanced, flavorful bite.
The Soft Bun with Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Cheese is another must-try. This soft bun is filled with creamy scrambled eggs and cheese for a smooth, balanced taste and topped with crispy bacon, all for THB 59.
At THB 49, the Pistachio Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is sure to make your mouth water. This creamy pistachio ice cream is packed with nutty pistachio flavor and sprinkled with crunchy chocolate chips for an extra layer of indulgence.
Inspired by IKEA’s popular Almond Chocolate Cake, the Butter Scotch Almond and Caramel Ice Cream is sweet and aromatic, with a buttery caramel blend and crunchy almond pieces that add a satisfying contrast. It’s available for THB 49.
In addition to these highlights, IKEA is also offering new items like bagels, sandwiches, hot dogs, and more ice cream flavors, including Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet, Kyoho Grape Sorbet, and Yogurt with Almonds and Honey.
All these new treats will be available at the IKEA Swedish Café and Ice Cream Shop at IKEA Bangna starting March 20, 2025.
