“MotoGP Thailand” organizers have announced that Thailand is set to host the season’s opening race, officially titled the “PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2025.”
Following an official test at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit from February 5-7, Dorna Sports has initiated preparations for the Season Premiere event in Bangkok.
Subsequently, the Pre-Season Test is scheduled for February 12-13, leading up to the season’s inaugural race at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, which will take place from February 28 to March 2, 2025.
The initial shipment of containers with vital race equipment has arrived at Chang International Circuit. These shipments are crucial for setting up the event, including the assembly of grandstands, pavilions, and activity booths.
The arrival of the BMW M5 safety car also marks a significant advancement in the race’s final preparations.
The race’s organizing committee is diligently coordinating to ensure the event runs smoothly, focusing on venue management, extensive hospitality for visitors, and medical readiness at Chang International Circuit.
Emergency response exercises have been conducted to bolster medical preparedness, a vital component in hosting an international racing event.
Ticket holders for the Main Race are granted access to the Pre-Season Test, with all grandstand seats open for spectators.
For those who cannot make the Main Race, tickets for the Pre-Season Test are available for 500 baht per day or 900 baht for both days. An exclusive VIP experience can be purchased for 5,000 baht per day.
