The “SIAM Songkran Music Festival 2025” has set a new record in ticket sales, surpassing 50,000 before the weekend even begins, securing its title as the year’s most monumental EDM festival and a key highlight of Thailand’s Songkran celebrations.
This impressive feat includes the complete sell-out of the highly sought-after VVIP Royal Balcony tickets, priced up to 5.4 million baht.
Scheduled to run from Friday, April 11 to Monday, April 14, the festival will take place at the Bravo BKK Arena in Bangkok’s Huai Khwang district.
One Asia Ventures, the organizing body, announced on Saturday that over half of the tickets were purchased by foreign tourists, comprising 54% of sales, while Thai nationals made up the remaining 46%.
This underscores the robust spending tendencies of both local and international visitors, drawn to what many consider an ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime joyful experience.
Ratchata Thunyavuthi, the chairman and founder of One Asia Ventures, expressed that the ticket sales had surpassed expectations, especially from international buyers, who accounted for 54% of the more than 50,000 tickets sold.
He added that the complete sell-out of the high-priced VVIP Royal Balcony tickets highlights the significant economic contribution and reaffirms Thailand as a premier destination for global music festivals.
“This reflects the strong spending power of both domestic and international visitors and reaffirms Thailand’s potential as a global music festival destination,” he said.
The SIAM Songkran Music Festival 2025 will feature two stages over four days. The main stage, standing 30 meters tall, is designed to support unique performances from each DJ, ensuring a breathtaking show.
In addition to the main stage, a second stage will showcase Techno and House DJs, providing an alternative vibe for attendees to enjoy.
This year, the festival introduces “SIAM VILLAGE,” a vibrant mix of Thai cultural elements including arts, cuisine, and traditional practices, modernized for a youthful audience.
This area will host activities such as Thai massage, LED shows, and a special “Muay Thai” event featuring a live match and workshop from the renowned “Phet Yindi” gym.
A must-see at the festival is the exclusive collaboration between two internationally famed DJs, Dimitri Vegas and Steve Aoki, performing together for the first time in Thailand.
The lineup also includes performances from Yellow Claw and Flosstradamus, a Songkran debut by techno icon Charlotte de Witte, and a return performance from Hardwell. Special guests like Argy, Artbat, Dillon Francis, Sub Focus, and over 40 other international and regional DJs will also be featured.
The festival also doubles as a fashion and lifestyle venue through collaborations with fashion brands HAUS OF PRIME, VINN PATARARIN, and LALALOVE, unveiling exclusive merchandise collections available only at the festival.
As the festival approaches its final phase of ticket sales, excitement builds for what promises to be an unforgettable plunge into fun and music.
