Thailand Privilege Expands Global Benefits for Its Long-Stay Members

Thailand’s role is expanding beyond tourism as more global citizens now consider making the country their second home. For these individuals, the decision is guided by a range of concerns, from visa requirements and safety to healthcare and the needs of their families.

In response to these broader expectations, Thailand Privilege Card, under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), is offering a wider choice of travel, lifestyle, and wellness services locally and internationally. President Manatase Annawat said this shift is most apparent among high-calibre foreign nationals drawn to secure long-term residency.

With membership exceeding 42,000, the programme reports average annual spending of THB 1.5 million per person. Combined, this expenditure contributes over THB 60 billion to the Thai economy each year, underscoring the initiative’s increasing national significance.

Factors including investment prospects, asset management, and global risk diversification are increasingly guiding choices when ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals consider an overseas residence. Suitable destinations must therefore accommodate their financial priorities whilst supporting quality of life and seamless international connectivity.

Reflecting these objectives, Thailand Privilege is evolving from a residency provider into a lifestyle partner, giving members access to experiences and privileges through more than 400 organisations nationwide and helping drive their spending towards local businesses.

The programme is also growing its international footprint through Global Privileges, which currently include airport transfer services across 66 destinations in 33 countries, over two million accommodation options globally, alongside a selection of 1,000-plus golf courses.

Elevating the Long-Term Living Experience Through Premium Support

Efforts are underway to introduce Meet & Assist services at airports overseas. This type of VIP support is already provided at Suvarnabhumi and Phuket International Airports, where Elite Personal Assistants welcome members and ensure a smoother arrival in the country.

A wide array of additional assistance is also available during their stay in Thailand, such as guidance from Elite Personal Liaison officers when dealing with government agencies and access to a Member Contact Center providing services in five languages: English, Korean, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese. Other privileges cover travel, lifestyle, health, and wellness.

Moving forward, Thailand Privilege is planning to enter new markets, with India, China, the Middle East, and Myanmar targeted for future development. The agency will also adopt AI to enhance convenience for members and streamline its services and internal processes.

From 2027, the company’s development will be guided by its PRIME strategy, which aligns with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s NEXT framework. Penetrate targets high-potential markets while Re-Engage encourages greater use of services and membership upgrades.

Initiate & Monetize focuses on building new revenue streams and maximising returns from business resources, whereas Enable seeks to develop internal management practices. An overarching goal of these priorities is to support sustainable growth, attract high-potential residents, boost spending, and elevate Thailand’s role as a leading long-term destination.

Thailand Privilege continues to refine and expand its services to meet the changing needs of high-potential international residents. If you’re interested in discovering more about the company and its wide-ranging services, please visit its official website or Facebook page.
