Vijit Chao Phraya 2025 Unveils 14 Iconic Spots for Light Show

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the return of “Vijit CHAO PHRAYA 2025 – The Light of Siam, The Mother of the Nation,” a grand light and sound spectacle set to illuminate the Chao Phraya River from November 9 to December 23, 2025.

This year’s edition features 14 illuminated landmarks stretching from Rama VIII Bridge to Rama III Bridge, transforming Bangkok’s riverside into a breathtaking panorama of light and artistry.

The festival will take place daily from 6pm to 10pm, offering locals and visitors an immersive nighttime experience along both sides of the river.

Dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, the event pays tribute to her lifelong devotion to the Thai people, as well as her tireless efforts in preserving the nation’s culture, crafts, and environment.

The festival’s theme, “The Light of Siam, The Mother of the Nation,” reflects the Queen Mother’s enduring influence and her legacy of compassion, grace, and unity.

Through creative light installations and music performances, Vijit CHAO PHRAYA 2025 aims to evoke a spirit of reverence and gratitude, celebrating the Queen Mother’s role as a guiding light for generations of Thais.

The entire showcase will be presented without fireworks, maintaining a tranquil and respectful atmosphere befitting its royal dedication.
