Nike Launches Live Concept Store at CentralPlaza Ladprao

US multinational corporation Nike, Inc. has unveiled a new store operated by Leading Asia retail specialist Valiram, at CentralPlaza Ladprao Mall, in one of Bangkok’s busiest shopping districts.

Nike Ladprao promises to be the perfect place where all residents in Thailand can get inspiration to take part in sports and find a wide variety of footwear and apparel from the world-famous brand.

It also arrives as the first Live Concept store in South East Asia, with a small format design that provides a personalised shopping experience, seamlessly combining physical and digital retail innovations.

Nike Ladprao was designed as a local store to present its customers and members with attractive elements such as a community wall with upcoming event announcements and exclusive access.

Moreover, the brand has paid special attention to female shoppers’ needs, offering them the best Nike products and services carefully selected to inspire them to integrate sports into their lifestyles.

In its vast catalog, customers can find a selection of football clothing and footwear, celebrating the most popular sport among Thai consumers. Nike Ladprao also offers a range of high-performance products, including Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% and Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next%, models worn by athletes like Eliud Kipchoge and Shelly Ann Fraser.

Tarundeep Singh, Senior Director Nike Stores, Southeast Asia & India, said: “After more than a year of waiting following Nike’s largest store launch in Siam Centre last year, we are excited to bring the very first Live Concept store to Bangkok.”

Thanks to Ladprao’s centralized location, the new Nike store will attract millions of tourists as Thailand reopens its borders, providing services that respond to the need for human connection, Singh added.

Singh described Nike Ladprao as “a neighborhood store” designed for the whole family to feel part of the athlete community. “Female shoppers will particularly appreciate bra fitting and styling services to help them find the right product and express themselves through dance fitness, running and yoga collections,” the senior director continued.

Mukesh Valiram, Executive Director of Valiram, Southeast Asia & Oceania, said the partnership with Nike in Thailand had grown stronger and stronger since their first store’s opening in Siam Center in mid-2020.

While the past few months have been challenging for the retail industry, difficulties have not stopped both companies from expanding their presence regionally. In addition to reaffirming their hard work and commitment, the store’s opening is in line with Valiram’s hallmark of creating world-class retail environments that deliver engaging shopping experiences, Mukesh added.

The new Nike Ladprao marks the beginning of a sports destination to revive the “new normal” as the country reopens to international visitors, especially fitness enthusiasts and purveyors.
