Thailand now appears in the boutique hotel brand The Standard’s expansion plans.
The US firm, known for operating six hotels in first-class locations: Miami Beach, New York, Los Angeles, London, and the Maldives, announced that it would bring two new properties to the kingdom.
The first one will be a 199-room escape, to be located in a lush, dreamscape garden with native flora and greenery in Hua Hin.
The Standard Hua Hin’s debut is scheduled for December 1, 2021, marking the brand’s consolidation in Thailand.
The exclusive property will be in an ideal location: next to Laksasubha and around the corner from Centara Hua Hin. Moreover, it promises a variety of luxurious yet comfortable spaces, including suites and villas inspired by the classy and beautiful The Standard hotel in Miami.
Also, The Standard Hua Hin will have a beach bar for those who want to have fun and enjoy the coastal scenery, exceptional restaurants offering local and international delicacies, and much more.
Its meals and drinks menus come with many surprises, promising to give guests something to get excited about. The Lido restaurant, whose alfresco sea-facing perch will be open all day, will serve cocktails and Italian bites.
The Standard Hua Hin will also be home to a Thai restaurant offering all the favorite dishes of Thailand’s people in a renovated and restored heritage house. Moreover, for those who love hot or refreshing elixirs, there’s the Juice Café, which will fill customers’ days with sweet, fresh juices and delicious, comforting coffee.
After opening its new hotel in Hua Hin, the brand will turn its attention to its next property located in Thailand. The Standard Bangkok Mahanakhon is set to open in the Mahanakhon Tower next year.
There are still many details to be revealed about this property. Yet it was confirmed that it would include a Chinese restaurant, called Mott 32, a Hong Kong-born empire that has managed to expand to different lush locations such as Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, Las Vegas, and Vancouver.
