Capella Is a Hit With Locals and Expats in Bangkok

Capella Bangkok officially opened its doors in early October and became the first Capella Hotels and Resorts property in Thailand.

The hotel has been a hit for Bangkok locals and ex-pats alike, who enjoy a tourist site that came as the exemplar of a new era of elegance and hospitality in the country.

This luxurious complex is located within the prestigious Chao Phraya Estate, making it the perfect alternative for those who want to discover the cultural heritage of Bangkok’s most historically important waterfront district.

Besides, based on the positive feedback it has received, this dazzling piece of urban architecture ushers in an era of rebirth for the legendary Chao Phraya River.

In this sense, the hotel offers panoramic views of the majestic river, being a door to enjoy the beauty of the nature of the city.

Andy Miller and Richard Scott Wilson, principal architects at Hamilton’s International, were responsible for the design of the hotel. Likewise, the famous creators of the BAMO trends were in charge of the interiors.

In this way, Capella Bangkok has 101 suites and villas with unobstructed views of the Chao Phraya River and Thailand’s revered river. It also offers world-class cuisine with contemporary dishes and spaces for revitalizing wellness backed by high levels of personalized services.

Capella Bangkok offers its visitors inspiring epicurean journeys. It is also the home of the long-awaited Côte, the first Southeast Asian outpost for Chef Mauro Colagreco, the Italo-Argentinian owner of the three Michelin-starred restaurant in France, chosen as the number one in the world at the World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards in 2019.

It also welcomes Stella, an intimate bar overlooking the Chao Phraya River that serves artisan cocktails and personalized desserts, as well as Phra Nakhon, a Thai specialty restaurant for al fresco dining on the riverbank.

Capella Bangkok officially opened with the exclusive Capella Bangkok 101 package. It offered up to 36 hours of stay with treatment in its contemporary Auriga spa as well as cocktails and welcome meals.

This new immersive package is designed for Thai citizens and ex-pats, and allows them to experience all the most enticing hotel amenities.

101 is the lucky number for Capella Bangkok: for that reason, its creators built 101 suites, gave the name Capella Bangkok 101 to its inaugural package, and opened its doors to the Thai public on 10.1, meaning October 1st.
