Emirates’ Premium Economy Experience Has Finally Arrived

New and existing Emirates customers can luxuriate in another travel experience through the airline’s new offering: Premium Economy.

The highly sought-after, new cabin class will be open for sale from August 1, offering flights with more luxurious seats, more legroom, and quality service.

Flyers traveling on popular A380 routes to London, Sydney and Paris will be able to leverage the new offer, as well as those flying to Christchurch from December.

People coming to Thailand via connecting flights in Dubai will also have the opportunity to reserve seats for the new Premium Economy experience.

Emirates, the only airline in the region to offer this new cabin class, promises travelers that the Premium Economy experience will be exceptional, exclusive and unmatched in the industry.

Although the company only has six A380 aircraft equipped with Premium Economy cabins, the positive response and high demand it has seen since its initial deployment in 2021 have encouraged the airline’s executives to launch their expansion plans.

In November, Emirates expects to start its modernization program to install Premium Economy on 67 A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft to have 126 aircraft equipped with the new-class cabins and ensure that its customers enjoy the best experience in the skies.

The Premium Economy cabin is located in front of a four-class Emirates A380 aircraft’s main deck, featuring 56 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration.

Travelers who book such cabins can enjoy many benefits, including the opportunity to wait in a dedicated Premium Economy check-in area at Dubai International Airport or use a self-service check-in kiosk to avoid exhausting, long queues.

Moreover, customers can relax and enjoy luxurious silence while traveling, as the Premium Economy cabins have a wood-paneled finish similar to Business Class.

This class’ cabins feature comfort-focused cream-colored top seats with a generous recline of up to 40 inches, 8-inch recline to cradle position, 6-way adjustable headrests, ample room to stretch out, easily accessible in-seat charging points, and a side cocktail table.

Also, Premium Economy travelers can enjoy an unforgettable dining experience with items inspired by Business Class, including a welcome drink in fine glassware, generous plates with seasonal ingredients and regional influences, exquisite chocolates, and first-class beverages such as Chandon sparkling wine.

And for entertainment, the airline has included a 13.3″ screen with up to 5,000 channels of music, TV, movies, news, and more.
