Thanks to Apple’s new affordable pricing strategy, the iPhone 12 is expected to sell around 80 million units in 2020 alone.

Reports show that the newly disclosed shipments for the iPhone 12 and its other versions (iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 mini) suggest that the company will reach at least 70 million units sold by the end of the year.

Analysts indicate that these forward-looking sales figures for the new Apple product are based on the anticipated arrival of 5G along with a high-performance A14 processor and improved camera functions.

According to their comments, these are the aspects that are attracting users and lead people with older iPhone models to update their devices.

They also highlight the effectiveness of Apple’s affordable pricing strategy, through which the company offers low-cost models, such as the iPhone SE or the iPhone 12 mini, for those looking for cheaper alternatives.

On the other hand, they also mention that the iPhone 12 line suggests that the trade conflicts between the United States and China will not intensify further.

As for the official launch, both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are scheduled to hit Apple stores and authorized resellers on October 23.

However, pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max will begin on November 6, with shipments scheduled for November 13.

It should be noted that the Apple iPhone 12 series comes without EarPods or power adapters.

It is a decision the company made to reduce the size and weight of the packaging, thereby lessening the carbon footprint and promoting advanced MagSafe wireless charging.

According to Apple’s statements, it is estimated that the delivery of its latest flagship devices without these accessories will reduce its carbon emissions by more than 2 million metric tons each year.

“As part of our efforts to reach our environmental goals, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini do not include a power adapter or EarPods. Please use your current Apple power adapter and headphones, or purchase these accessories separately,” stated the company in the past Hi, Speed event, where it introduced its iPhone 12 lineup with 5G technology.

In this way, customers who choose a new Apple device will find that the only accessory included with their phone will be a USB-C to Lightning cable.
