Tomorrowland’s upcoming debut in Thailand is already delivering a boost to the eastern region’s hospitality industry, with hotels in Pattaya and nearby Bang Saen seeing a sharp rise in bookings ahead of the world-renowned music festival.
The event is scheduled to run from December 11 to 13, 2026, at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, Chon Buri, marking Tomorrowland’s first edition in Southeast Asia.
Dr Watcharapong Khunpluem, president of the Thailand Hotel Association Eastern Chapter, said the region’s hotel sector has begun preparing for the influx of visitors, with several properties signing agreements with festival organisers to accommodate international guests.
He said hotel partnerships connected to the event are not limited to Pattaya, as nearby destinations including Bang Saen have also attracted interest due to their accessibility and transport links. A number of hotels in the area have already secured contracts related to the festival.
Demand is also being felt beyond official accommodation partners, with other hotels reporting stronger advance bookings as international travellers prepare to visit the region. Many are expected to arrive from key Asian markets, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and China.
Dr Watcharapong said Tomorrowland should be viewed as more than a standard EDM concert, noting that the festival has a large global following and is known for its immersive production, dedicated fan community and strong destination appeal.
He added that the 2026 event is expected to create a major lift for tourism and local spending in Pattaya and Chon Buri, particularly as many visitors are likely to stay in the area before and after the festival.
With December typically regarded as a peak travel period for the eastern region, tourism officials expect Tomorrowland to further drive activity across hotels, restaurants, transport providers and other local businesses.
Dr Watcharapong said the festival could also help raise Pattaya’s global profile, strengthening the city’s position as a destination capable of hosting major international entertainment events.
