People’s Party Launches Policy Blueprint Days Before Election

Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, leader and prime ministerial nominee of the People’s Party, has declared that his party is ready to form what he described as a “government of the people,” pledging to govern without political division if elected.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Udon Thani on Thursday, Mr Natthaphong outlined the party’s core vision and formally introduced its policy platform, titled the “Blueprint to Transform Thailand.” He was joined on stage by key campaign figure Piyabutr Saengkanokkul.

Addressing supporters in the northeastern province, Mr Natthaphong said he believed voters were ready for change ahead of Sunday’s election.

He urged the electorate to back the People’s Party in both constituency and party-list ballots, and to support a referendum on drafting a new constitution.

The former IT executive said the party’s election readiness rested on three main pillars.

First, he stressed ideological clarity, saying the People’s Party had no hidden agendas or vested interests. He described the movement as citizen-founded and committed to ensuring its representatives act as an uncompromised voice for the public.

Second, he highlighted organisational preparedness, noting that the People’s Party is the only political group to have already announced a full governing team.

More than 40 proposed cabinet and executive members have been unveiled, with an emphasis on cross-ministerial collaboration rather than traditional portfolio silos.

Mr Natthaphong said this approach would break away from entrenched political practices such as quota-based appointments and patronage networks, which he argued had long fuelled corruption and vote-buying.

The third pillar, he said, was policy depth. The party’s blueprint includes more than 200 proposals, all designed to deliver broad public benefit rather than serve a narrow elite.
