Diddy Faces Two More Lawsuits Accusing Him of Sexual Assault

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing two new lawsuits alleging sexual assault. Both cases, lodged in New York, were brought forward by men who claim they were underage when the assaults occurred.

In one instance, the accuser was just 10 years old. The other involves a claim from a teenage boy who was auditioning for the MTV reality show “Making the Band,” which Combs produced.

Representatives for Combs have firmly denied the allegations, stating, “He never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”

These cases are part of a larger wave of more than two dozen lawsuits filed against Combs recently, involving accusations ranging from drugging and underage assaults to intimidation and sexual extortion.

Combs is also contending with federal criminal charges related to alleged sex trafficking and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

The lawsuits, initiated on Monday by attorney Tony Buzbee, claim to represent over 100 alleged victims and suggest further actions will be taken against Combs.

The first lawsuit, filed anonymously, accuses Combs of assaulting the claimant in 2005 when he was 10 years old and pursuing a career as an actor and rapper.

The boy’s parents, aiming to boost his prospects in entertainment, consulted an industry expert who recommended meetings with music professionals in New York.

On this trip, the consultant organized an “audition” with Mr. Combs, during which he requested a private meeting with the boy, as stated in the lawsuit.

The legal claim states that the consultant led the boy to Combs’ hotel room and left him alone there. The boy then performed several rap songs for Combs, who praised his potential.

The lawsuit recounts that Combs questioned the boy’s commitment to his dream, and following the boy’s earnest response, he was given a soda by someone else that made him feel “funny,” initially thinking it was due to the happiness over the meeting.

The allegation continues, claiming Combs then disrobed and demanded the boy engage in a sexual act, and when the boy resisted, Combs assaulted him. The complaint details that the boy lost consciousness and later awoke in pain, with his trousers undone.

According to the claim, Combs threatened to harm the boy’s parents if he disclosed the assault.

In the second lawsuit, another unnamed male alleges he was sexually assaulted by Combs in 2008 while auditioning for “Making the Band.”

During the audition, Combs is said to have questioned the plaintiff about handling sexual pressure, which allegedly escalated to forced sexual acts with the assistance of his bodyguard.

The lawsuit alleges that Combs, assisted by his bodyguard, coerced the teenager into performing sexual acts.

Currently, Combs is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after his arrest on federal charges in September. Bail was denied, and he will stay in custody pending his trial in May.

Combs has refuted all the allegations made against him. His representatives have stated, “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process.”

Should he be found guilty of racketeering, Combs could be sentenced to life in prison.
