Oaisis Reportedly Set To Stage New North American Tour Dates

Oasis is set to announce their North American tour dates next Friday, sparking excitement among fans who missed out on earlier opportunities to secure tickets for their shows in the UK.

For the first time since 2008, the Gallagher brothers will reunite for concerts across the US, fueling anticipation.

This announcement follows plans for reunion shows in the UK and Ireland next summer, during which the band faced backlash for their “dynamic pricing” approach to ticket sales.

The tour is expected to include major cities such as New York and Los Angeles, as well as Chicago and Boston.

“Noel and Liam are planning to reveal their US shows this Friday,” a source reported.

“It’s going to be a handful of massive dates in major cities. Brits living in New York and Los Angeles should have a decent chance at getting themselves a ticket.

“Oasis doesn’t want a repeat of the issues they had with ticket sales for their home gigs, but they are expecting the same huge demand they saw here.”

The band has already sold out seven nights at Wembley and has performances scheduled in Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

Despite their lesser popularity in the US compared to the UK, American fans have eagerly requested the band to perform stateside.

An Amazon Music advertisement in Times Square featured a photo of Noel and Liam with a message promoting their US tour.

The advertisement stated, “If putting up a billboard in Times Square is what it takes to bring these guys to the States, then here we go.”

Over ten million fans from 158 countries attempted to secure tickets for the band’s initial shows. Many were left disappointed, and those who managed to get tickets were upset over price increases during the lengthy online wait.

Following these issues, the Competition and Markets Authority initiated an investigation into the ticket seller Ticketmaster.

Noel’s last performance in the US with Oasis was during their Dig Out Your Soul tour, attributing their limited success there to their nonchalant attitude.

Despite their global fame, Oasis never achieved a number one album in the US, with their 1997 album “Be Here Now” reaching number two, and “Wonderwall” being their only single to crack the top 15.

Last year, Manchester-born Noel reflected on their American experience, noting, “America couldn’t handle the fact that we didn’t care about anything.

“I think that’s the reason we’ve never really had a No. 1 album in America. They wouldn’t go the extra mile for us because we wouldn’t go the extra mile for them.

“That’s why we’ve never been nominated for a Grammy—you have to play the game over there, and we just couldn’t do it.”
