Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were seen together with their children amidst their divorce proceedings.
The couple was spotted enjoying brunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, marking the first time they have reunited publicly since Lopez filed for divorce from the actor on August 20.
An insider reported that “Ben and JLo are currently at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them but at a separate table.”
During the visit, the pair were captured in a seemingly serious discussion in their car outside the hotel.
For the brunch, Lopez opted for a long-sleeved black crop top and flared jeans, while Affleck chose a blue shirt, jeans, and Nike sneakers.
Lopez, the 55-year-old star of “Hustlers,” notably wore her engagement ring on her pinky and a ring bearing her name on her ring finger.
The outing included Affleck’s children, Seraphina and Samuel, as well as Lopez’s twins, Emme and Max, who were seen entering the hotel.
Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s ex-wife, was also at the hotel, departing with her children after their meal.
This public appearance occurred nearly a month after the “On the Floor” singer initiated divorce proceedings against the “Argo” actor, coinciding with what would have been their second wedding anniversary.
In her divorce filing, Lopez cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the separation. She recorded their separation date as April 26.
In August, Lopez formally requested a legal name change back to Jennifer Lynn Lopez from Jennifer Lynn Affleck, following their elopement in July 2022.
Despite not having a prenuptial agreement, the couple faces potential disputes over assets, including the $68 million Beverly Hills mansion they recently listed.
Affleck is rumored to have moved to a $20 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades, while Lopez is currently house hunting.
