Blackpink’s Lisa Set To Perform New Year’s Concert in Bangkok

Blackpink’s Lalisa “Lisa” Manoban is set to captivate audiences with a special performance at the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2025 in Bangkok.

Tourism and Sports Minister Sorawong Thienthong confirmed this thrilling update, highlighting it as a key attraction for Thailand’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra also confirmed Lalisa’s participation during a Cabinet meeting at Government House. She expressed excitement about the event and responded positively when asked about Lisa’s involvement.

The Prime Minister noted that the event is largely organized by the private sector, though she indicated that final arrangements might still be pending.

“While the private sector is taking the lead, I’m not entirely sure of the next steps,” she stated. She expressed pride in supporting Lisa, praising her not only as a beloved Thai icon but also for her global recognition.

Minister Sorawong stated that the government aims to attract more international artists and festivals to Thailand, enhancing tourism spending.

Lisa’s performance is expected to significantly boost attention to the countdown event, as confirmed by the collaboration between the event organizers and the ministry.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool noted that while several countdown festivals are supported this year, Lisa’s participation was secured through private sector initiatives.

This underscores the critical role of entertainment in advancing Thailand’s tourism sector.

Lisa recently released “Moonlit Floor,” her third single under her label LLOUD, in partnership with RCA Records, a Sony Music subsidiary.

Her first single “Rockstar” achieved a remarkable milestone of 200 million YouTube views last week, reflecting her extensive global appeal and influence.
