Chrissy Teigen is recovering after bleeding during her pregnancy.
Last Sunday, the 34-year-old model revealed that she spends a few days in the hospital due to excessive bleeding in the placenta. Teigen faces it after living weeks of mandatory bed rest for this complication of her pregnancy.
She announced it through stories on her Instagram account, where she stated that she felt a little scared, but everything is fine.
Chrissy Teigen is expecting her third child, who will be a boy. Besides, she revealed in her posts that she halfway through her pregnancy.
According to her comments, she started bleeding a little less than a month ago. She also indicated that her bleeding issues were about something more complex than the period.
A lot of people spot, and it’s usually fine. But mine was a lot” said Teigen. Also, she explained that she bled when she went to the bathroom and even just laying.
However, it got worse. Teigen added, “But today the big difference was that it kind of was like you were to turn a faucet on to low and leave it there… It was at the point today where it was like never stopping.”
Teigen also stated that her growing baby is very healthy and grows even stronger than her other two children. She also told her fans that her baby moves a lot and that this pregnancy has been different from the ones she experienced before.
“We have like a million great pictures of him. He’s just so different than they were. So he’s so strong and I’m just so excited for him because he’s so wonderful and just the strongest little dude, so I can’t wait for him” she detailed.
The model and her husband, singer John Legend, are the parents of two other children, 4-year-old Luna and 2-year-old Miles.
Even though they are both healthy, Teigen knows that her son is not safe yet.
“It’s just hard because there’s not much you can do. I’m in that weird in-between time of it being really dangerous to try anything” she said.
Teigen expects to spend the next few weeks resting until they get through the danger zone. Also, she affirmed that she is afraid but knows that this is a stage that they will overcome.
As for her husband, Teigen revealed that the singer stayed with her in her room, where he made his wife her very own sandwich.
