Kim Kardashian and Kanye West could get back together as they have reportedly been working to “rebuild the foundation of their relationship,” sources told TMZ.
Citing sources close to the former couple, TMZ said that Kim and Kanye had spent time together privately after their meetings at the rapper’s “Donda” performances.
The divorce is still ongoing, TMZ added. But insiders allegedly claimed that Kardashian could withdraw the divorce petition if the two resolve some disagreements.
Kim formally filed for divorce from Kanye in February, after a turbulent period for the pair.
Both the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star and the “Gold Digger” singer had been trying to work things out as they want the best for their children, sources told TMZ.
The ex-couple share four children together: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
After breaking up, they have tried to maintain a friendly relationship, giving fans hope about a possible reconciliation.
Moreover, the model attended the rapper’s listening events, where she sat in the front row with their children to support him.
Kim also wore her wedding dress again to reenact their marriage during Kanye’s latest Donda listening party at Soldier Field, Chicago.
During the last song, No Child Left Behind, Kardashian appeared wearing a Balenciaga Couture dress.
According to insiders at the show, the businesswoman “supports Kanye and was happy to be on stage in a wedding dress” and also “loves to show her kids how much she supports him.”
“She has always respected his art and ideas and was all in for the performance,” the sources added.
“If other people think it’s strange, it’s OK, because Kim doesn’t. She thinks it’s cool, great for his art and their relationship.”
Kanye West also made headlines last week after petitioning a court to change his name.
The hip-hop star and Grammy-award winner made a legal request to officially change his name from Kanye Omari West to only “Ye.”
If a judge approves the request, he will be known by his name’s abbreviation.
However, despite her ex-husband’s decision to file documents to change his name to Ye, Kim Kardashian West said she would not legally change her name as she’s still a West.
According to TMZ, the sources said the TV star had no plans to remove West from her full name.
Kim supports the rapper’s desire to abbreviate his name but considers it important to keep the same last name as her four children.
