Lady Gaga and Fiancé Michael Polansky Welcome First Child

Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have reportedly welcomed their first child together.

The Grammy winner, 40, has spoken openly for several years about her desire to start a family. While discussing her 10-year plan in a December 2019 YouTube video, she said she hoped children would be part of her future.

“I want to do more movies, I want to have babies,” she said at the time.

Gaga expressed similar hopes during a March 2020 interview with InStyle. “I will say I am very excited to have kids,” she said.

“I look forward to being a mom. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive.”

She also joked that her role as “Mother Monster” to her fans had already given her home a maternal atmosphere. “It’s so funny — everyone works out of my house every day. When they come in, I always say, ‘Welcome to the Womb!’ ” she quipped.

More recently, Gaga described motherhood as the role she most wanted to take on next.

During an October 2025 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she said: “I would like to do many things. All of these things are open. But what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”

Gaga and Polansky were first linked after they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2020.

They confirmed their relationship on Instagram shortly after attending the Super Bowl in Miami together and later quarantined at Gaga’s home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The couple have largely kept their relationship private while supporting each other’s professional and charitable work. Polansky is the executive director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, while Gaga has promoted mental health awareness through her Born This Way Foundation since 2012.

“Michael is very sweet and supportive,” a source previously said. “He is hardworking as well, so he appreciates her focus. They are a great team.”

Gaga publicly confirmed their engagement during the 2024 Paris Olympics when she introduced Polansky to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal as “my fiancé” while the three watched a swimming event.
