Lisa Electrifies Victoria’s Secret Show With Iconic Performance

Blackpink’s Lisa turned the runway into her stage at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She opened the show with a dynamic performance of her solo hit “Rockstar,” as part of the event’s first-ever all-women lineup.

Dressed in a striking two-piece leather outfit, Lisa made an electrifying entrance, riding a motorcycle that was suspended above the stage, accompanied by a team of 10 dancers who matched her dynamic choreography.

As the song neared its climax, the performance escalated into an intense dance break. Lisa executed a flawless split landing, then confidently concluded her act by walking down the runway.

Following Lisa’s act, the fashion show officially began with Bella Hadid leading the models, who were dressed in washed-pink lingerie, walking to the rhythm of Chappell Roan’s “Femininomenon.”

Later, after performances of “Water” and “Push 2 Start” by Tyla, Lisa returned to the runway. She now sported a lace bodysuit paired with metallic wings to perform “Moonlit Floor,” her latest single that features a nod to Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me.”

Lisa was the final artist revealed for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show lineup, announced in September.

This show marked a significant return, being the first since the event’s 2019 cancellation due to criticisms over inclusivity. It featured additional performances by Tyla and Cher.

“The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is such an iconic night in fashion and I’m so excited to be part of its return with so many incredible and powerful women being part of the show! It’s going to be a great night,” Lisa shared in a statement when her performance was first announced.

Recently, fashion has played a pivotal role in Lisa’s artistic expression. In July, she was named the newest House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton.

At that time, the brand lauded her as a pivotal figure reshaping global music culture today, known for setting trends and pursuing her art with bold authenticity. Lisa also holds ambassador roles with Celine and Bulgari.

This year marked a significant return for Lisa herself. Three years after her debut EP “Lalisa,” she released the lively single “Rockstar.”

She premiered the song at her first solo performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where she also introduced “New Woman,” a collaboration with Rosalía.

Just last week, Lisa debuted “Moonlit Floor,” her third single of the year, at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City on September 28.
