Boxing enthusiasts surely won’t want to miss the second “Boxing Road to Paris World Qualifying Tournament,” set to take place at the Indoor Stadium Huamark on Ramkhamhaeng Road, starting from May 24 and running until June 2.
Spanning over ten days, more than 1,460 fighters from around the world will compete to secure the final slots for the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.
In addition to the thrilling matches, the Thailand Boxing Association has organized several engaging activities for attendees to check out.
These activities include a “Boxing History Exhibition” that will delve into the evolution of Thai boxing at the Olympics, highlighting previous tournaments and celebrated champions.
The exhibit will also explore the connection between Thai royalty and the sport, presenting this information in engaging, educational formats.
A “Painting Contest Exhibition” will feature artistic interpretations centered around the theme “Thai Boxing on the Road to the Olympics,” contributed by Thai citizens of all ages.
Furthermore, the “Net Zero Exhibition” will showcase innovative and artistic creations by local community members, crafted exclusively from recycled and waste materials.
This exhibition is part of an initiative by the Thailand Olympic Committee under Royal Patronage and the Thailand Boxing Association to promote eco-friendly sports practices.
Visitors can also enjoy a boxing playground, where they can experience VR boxing, play punch boxing games, and get their faces painted before joining the “Boom Boom To Cheer” team to rally behind the local boxers.
