Borussia Dortmund Rule Out Selling Haaland This Summer

Borussia Dortmund have completely ruled out the possibility of selling Erling Haaland in this transfer window. This new information comes shortly after serious interest from Chelsea was reported.

According to the English press, the Blues have not made an official offer for the striker, however, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would welcome Haaland joining the club.

The Norwegian (who turns 21 on 21 July) has scored 20 goals in 16 Champions League games for Borussia Dormund and Red Bull Salzburg, monstrous numbers which have made him one of the most sought-after players in Europe.

Pep Guardiola is also reportedly interested in Manchester City signing him. Following the departure of Sergio Agüero (top scorer in the history of the Citizens), the Spanish coach could be looking for an elite striker.

Still, Haaland is not the only option on the table for him, as Harry Kane is another name that has been heavily linked with the club in recent days.

In any case, the German team is determined to reject any offer for its star player, even the juiciest ones.

Dortmund have denied reports that they could sign Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann or Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski to replace the 20-year-old.

The club intends that Jadon Sancho (who signed for Manchester United) will be their only star released this summer.
