Mauricio Pochettino Wants To Return to the Premier League

Mauricio Pochettino is interested in being a coach in England again. What could be his problem is that PSG owners will have a hard time agreeing to give up the coach in the middle of the season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked on Sunday after a terrible match on Vicarage Road where Manchester United was defeated by Watford 4-1. After his dismissal, there was speculation about who will be the new coach. Pochettino was immediately marked as one of the candidates to replace the Norwegian.

It has been rumored for months that Pochettino is not the happiest in Paris. The coach who led Tottenham in England for five years and brought him to the Champions League final does not have the freedom he had in the team from London.

A lot of things are being asked about sports director Leonardo who made it possible for Pochettino to have the best squad in Europe led by Neymar, Messi, and Mbappe.

Pochettino will come to Manchester this week as PSG plays another Champions League game against the current runner-up of that competition, Manchester City.

It could be an opportunity for the club’s leading men from Old Trafford to get in touch with the Argentine coach.

He is not the only option given that the candidates for the new United coach are reportedly Zinedine Zidane, Brendan Rodgers, and Ajax coach Eric Ten Haag.

With Pochettino, there is a desire to return to England, but not everything depends on him and it will be his club bosses who ultimately decide his future.

He was not a success in France last season, considering that PSG was not the champion of Ligue , and the Champions League slipped away again.

Therefore, the owners from Qatar could consider letting the Argentine lead another club in the Premier League after less than a year.
