Portugal and France Draw, Both Make Last-16 of Euro 2020

On Wednesday, Portugal and France drew 2-2 in a great match at the Ferenc Puskas Stadium in Budapest (Hungary).

In the 30th minute, following a free kick, Hugo Lloris tried to clear the ball with his hands but ended up punching Danilo and referee Mateu Lahoz awarded Portugal a penalty.  Cristiano Ronaldo did not hesitate and put his team ahead.

In first-half stoppage time, Lahoz awarded France an absurd penalty for a non-existent foul by Semedo on Mbappé. Karim Benzema took it and scored the equaliser.

In the 47th minute, Paul Pogba played a magical through ball to Benzema, who beat Rui Patricio to make it 2-1.

In the 60th minute, Lahoz awarded Portugal another penalty for a handball by Kounde inside the box. Ronaldo showed no mercy and scored to make it 2-2.
