Big Time Rush Set To Make Debut Bangkok Performance in October

American boy band Big Time Rush, also known as BTR, will bring its long-awaited show to Thailand when the lads hit the Voice Space, Rangsit stage on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

This popular group, comprised of Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, James Maslow, and Carlos PenaVega, is cherished by music fans worldwide for its lively melodies and smooth vocals. Followers of BTR based in the Kingdom were elated when the superstars recently announced they would be performing in the Thai capital, as part of their debut Asian tour.

Big Time Rush is best known for starring in the renowned Nickelodeon series of the same name that aired from 2009 until 2013. The musical comedy show chronicled the lives of a fictional boy band navigating fame, while trying to juggle their personal lives and careers.

Prior to being selected for the series, the boys came together through auditions staged in Los Angeles, California in 2009. On the back of the show, it was decided that the fictional group would make a terrific real-life band, one which has gone on to release four albums.

The quartet’s first album, “BTR”, came out in 2010 reaching number three on the Billboard 200 chart and includes hit songs such as “Worldwide”, “Nothing Even Matters”, as well as their most successful track of all time, “Boyfriend”, featuring eminent rapper Snoop Dogg.

A second album, “Elevate”, came out a year later, gaining critical and commercial success. Popular tracks from this record include “Windows Down”, “Superstar”, and “Music Sounds Better With You”, an upbeat song co-written by Ryan Tedder, and featuring rap star Mann.

“24/Seven”, the band’s third album, was released in 2013 and received various accolades, including Best Live Act at the 2014 World Music Awards. Soon after, they went on a hiatus before reuniting in 2020, releasing an acoustic version of “Worldwide” to mark the event.

Big Time Rush then embarked on a reunion tour, performing over 50 concerts throughout North and South America from 2022 until 2023. The tour was acclaimed by concertgoers for the band’s exceptional vocal abilities, and their interaction with the crowds – “Another Life”, BTR’s latest studio album put out in June 2023, has been a huge hit for the quartet.

Attendees of the group’s Bangkok concert this October can look forward to seeing all the top hits being performed live alongside standout tracks from the current album, including “Can’t Get Enough”, “Forget You Now”, “Waves”, and “I Just Want To (Party All the Time)”.
