Maroon 5’s World Tour 2022 Comes to Bangkok in December

Maroon 5 are to make their long-awaited return to Thailand in December, having recently confirmed that Bangkok shall be one of the Asian stops on their current 2022 world tour.

The pop rock band from Los Angeles, California is made up of six members: lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adam Levine, lead guitarist James Valentine, keyboardist PJ Morton, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, drummer Matt Flynn and bassist Sam Farrar. They are one of the biggest bands in the world with over 135 million records sold.

Their biggest hits to date include “This Love”, “Moves Like Jagger”, “Sugar”, “Payphone”, “One More Night”, “Animals”, and “Girls Like You” featuring hip-hop heavyweight Cardi B. The album “Jordi”, released in June 2021, was the seventh studio album from Maroon 5.

Saturday December 10th, 2022 is the date to mark in your diaries to catch Adam and the boys back in Bangkok, a city that has embraced Maroon 5 like no other. They have been met with thunderous receptions on every occasion they’ve appeared in the Thai capital.

The World Tour 2022 shall be stopping at Rajamangala National Stadium, a larger venue than where they last played in Bangkok during the Red Pill Blues Tour: the band sold out their March 2019 show which was held at Impact Challenger Hall 1, Muang Thong Thani.

Fans of the band who live in Asia have a number of dates in November and December to look forward to, with Maroon 5’s tour confirmed to stop in city-state Singapore, as well as Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Manila, news that broke the internet when recently announced.

On a whopping 32 occasions Adam and Co. have reached the Billboard Hot 100, starting with their debut single “Harder to Breathe” taken from debut album “Songs About Jane”, which peaked at No. 18 in 2002, an album also featuring the smash “She Will Be Loved”.

While Levine has achieved solo success, particularly as a coach on popular NBC singing competition The Voice, it’s Maroon 5 upon which his musical legend rests (formed as the group Kara’s Flowers in Los Angeles, when Levine was just a teenager). Adam starred in 2013’s “Begin Again”, his solid performance being well-received by critics and fans alike.

Maroon 5 performed at the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime show in 2019, exposing them to a global audience, and winning the band a legion of new fans. If their Bangkok show later this year is anywhere near as epic, then fans can expect to have a tremendous evening.
