NIKI To Perform “Buzz” World Tour at Bangkok’s IMPACT in February

NIKI, the Jakarta-born and L.A.-based singer-songwriter and producer, is preparing for the Asian leg of her “Buzz” World Tour in February 2025, including a show in the Thai capital.

The tour is in support of NIKI’s third studio album, “Buzz”, which came out on August 9 via 88rising, the pioneering US-based music label handling Asian and Asian American artists. Impact Exhibition Hall 5 is where you can catch the multi-talented 25-year-old performing on Saturday, February 22, for what is sure to be a thrilling night of musical entertainment.

Since releasing her breakthrough smash hit song “lowkey” in 2019, NIKI, whose full name is Nicole Zefanya, has gained huge acclaim with music fans around the world, enchanted by her soulful pop and smooth R&B, featuring sultry vocals and thought-provoking lyrics.

“lowkey” and “Every Summertime” are her biggest hits to date, racking up 511 million and 435 million Spotify streams respectively. The Indonesian artist names Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Stevie Nicks, and Liz Phair as major influences, defining her unique musical style.

It’s been an especially busy year for NIKI, who played at acclaimed L.A. venue The Greek Theatre, and London’s OVO Arena Wembley, back in November as she gets set to return to Asia for her forthcoming tour dates, which will include a debut concert in Hong Kong.

The rise to stardom for NIKI has been rapid, ever since she won a contest at the age of 15 to open for Taylor Swift’s “Red” Tour in her hometown Jakarta. The young songwriter was soon after an instant hit on YouTube, by uploading her acoustic covers and original tunes.

In 2017, during her studies of music at Nashville’s Lipscomb University, NIKI’s career really took off when she signed to 88rising, appearing on their 2018 collaborative album “Head in the Clouds”. Her debut studio album “Moonchild” included the smash hit “Lose”, which is a ballad about being in a toxic relationship, with over 33 million YouTube views to date.

Now on album number three, the well-received “Buzz”, Zefanya has built up a vast global fanbase through exploring themes of self-acceptance, while trying to navigate the varied trials and tribulations of one’s twenties. “Buzz” looks at her episodes of fresh heartbreak.

For an artist of her age NIKI has built an outstanding career, marked by sold-out concerts across multiple continents, more than three billion streams worldwide, a large number of festival performances, and a four song contribution on Marvel’s “Shang-Chi” soundtrack.

Tickets are now on sale to see the talented NIKI performing live in Bangkok on February 22. They start from THB 1,500 via: www.livenationtero.co.th or by calling: 02-262-3838.
