Sting Bringing “STING 3.0” World Tour to Bangkok This September

Legendary singer-songwriter Sting has announced his long-awaited return to Bangkok for September 2025, news which created a major buzz among devout fans around Thailand!

The former frontman and bassist of The Police, the renowned band from the late ’70s and early ’80s, is also recognised for his acting roles, and advocacy on behalf of human rights and the environment. He has found great success as a solo artist, with a career full of hits seamlessly blending pop, jazz, and folk over nearly 40 years since The Police disbanded.

73-year-old Sting, who has won an outstanding 17 Grammy Awards, has a huge repertoire of iconic tunes to thrill audiences at his concerts. “Every Breath You Take”, “Englishman in New York”, “Roxanne”, “Message in a Bottle”, and “Fields of Gold” are all magnificent live.

UOB Live Bangkok is the chosen venue to catch the celebrated British artist on Thursday, September 25, and those attending this show are sure to have an epic time watching the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Golden Globe winner and four-time Oscar nominee perform.

Sting’s tour received the name “STING 3.0” to signify the trio format of the performances, with Sting on bass and vocals, Dominic Miller on guitar, and Chris Maas on drums. United they deliver tightly stripped sets that showcase Sting’s artistry in its most authentic form.

Fans of the Wallsend-born superstar have been extremely impressed by “STING 3.0 LIVE” noting the electric atmosphere and crowd engagement throughout. The nine-song album was recorded during his current tour, gaining critical acclaim upon its release on April 25.

With a mind-blowing 155 million records sold and a loyal global fanbase, tickets for Sting’s shows have been in monstrous demand. Since kicking off, the “STING 3.0” world tour has spanned multiple continents, delighting crowds across Europe, North America, and South America, including his November 2024 concert at the spectacular LA venue, The Wiltern.

Sting, born Gordon Matthew Sumner, was given his nickname playing with local band The Phoenix Jazzmen. A black and yellow hooped sweater he wore made him look like a bee (or a wasp as he has stated during interviews), so his bandmates began calling him Sting.

One of the biggest achievements of Sting’s journey was being invited to appear at 1985’s Live Aid concert, staged at London’s Wembley Stadium. It raised in excess of $140 million to support famine relief, bringing the world’s attention to Ethiopia’s awful food shortages.

If you’d like to see Sting, a genuine world class artist, perform live in Bangkok, then this is your chance! Tickets start from THB 2,800 via: www.livenationtero.co.th or 02-262-3838.
