Thailand’s First Yakiniku Like Opens at CentralPlaza Ladprao

Thais can experience and enjoy authentic Japanese barbecue from now on, with opening promotions starting at 29 baht, in Yakiniku Like.

Japan’s first fast-casual yakiniku restaurant has arrived in Thailand, opening its first-ever outlet on the first floor of CentralPlaza Lardprao on November 24.

Yakiniku Like promises Thai customers a unique Japanese-style barbecue experience through an attractive opening 29-baht promotion for a set meal.

The restaurant, designed under a “Tasty! Quick! Value!” dining concept, serves orders in three minutes and offers its customers a wide selection of US- and Australia-imported beef, pork and chicken. They are available exclusively for its Thai outlet as items from the à la carte menu or as part of individual meals that come with soup, rice, and a choice of kimchi or salad.

It also offers its Yakiniku Like’s four specially made dipping sauces to complement the meat sizzling on the grill, including Garlic Soy Sauce, Original BBQ Sauce, Sea Salt Sauce, and Spicy Miso Sauce.

Also, while adapting to the new normal after the pandemic, the restaurant has a contactless and easy-to-use ordering system that allows people to check the menu and start to order on their own mobile phone by only scanning a QR code.

To further reduce common touchpoints and ensure safe social distancing, the restaurant invites customers to use the QueQ app, which provides online queue tickets to reduce physical queues and wait time.

Yakiniku Like also has several attractive promotions available to celebrate its first-ever Thai outlet’s opening, starting for only 29 baht and subject to a first-come, first-serve basis while stocks last.

On November 24, customers can enjoy the exclusive Karubi Set, a short plate with 200 gr of beef (which usually costs 259 baht) for only 29 baht. It is limited to one set per person, and there are 100 sets available.

On November 25, the restaurant invites Thais to enjoy the exclusive Pork Karubi Set, made from 200 gr of pork belly (which usually costs 259 baht). The set is also limited to one per person, and there are only 100 available.

Yakiniku Like will give out the coupons to the 100 lucky diners on a first-come, first-served basis.

Moreover, during the first two weeks of reopening (from November 16 to December 9), diners can enjoy a selection of 50 gr a la carte dishes for only 29 baht, including Chicken (chicken thigh), Karubi (short beef plate), and Pork Kaburi (pork belly).
