Hola Shaka is making its return to Riverdale Marina on April 27 this year bringing back the beloved summer festival, which has a perfect blend of music combined with water sports.
The festival boasts a thrilling line-up, including two international headliners set to electrify the stage, creating a special vibe for guests to enjoy the action by the Chao Phraya River.
Last year, the festival attracted thousands of attendeess, and was a massive success with its uninterrupted live performances from midday till midnight on the two different stages.
The event featured a wide array of talents from across the world, with acts such as LUCY from Germany, Closet Yi from Korea, DJ Shintaro from Japan, Levi from Vietnam, and an exciting lineup of Thai artists like YOUNGOHM, Alec Orachi, Rosalyn, Kiki, and Lepyutin.
This year’s show will see James Bay, a Grammy-nominated and Brit Award-winning artist, performing in Bangkok for the very first time. He will perform a full concert, including the top smash hits of his career to date such as “Hold Back The River,” “Let It Go,” and “Us.”
Adding to the festival’s allure is Neil Frances, a renowned electronic dance duo from Los Angeles. Fresh off their performance at Coachella 2024, they will play their iconic tunes “Music Sounds Better With You,” “Teardrops,” and “Dumb Love” at the Riverdale Marina.
The roster also has a selection of talented Thai artists, including the popular rapper Milli, who has also graced the stage of Coachella music festival, and ten other big name acts.
Featuring two stages: the Sunrise Stage for live acts, and the Sunset Stage dedicated to electronic performances, the festival will host acts like DJ Dragon x DJ Wen, with Tulwai and ten additional local DJs completing the line-up which is set to rock the Thai capital.
With Songkran still fresh in everyone’s minds, the festival shall host multiple water sport contests and activities – surfing, wakeboarding, and wakeskating are certain highlights.
Attendees can also peruse various food zones, beverage kiosks, and a lifestyle market.
