New Balance Officially Opens Its First Flagship Store in Thailand

The world-renowned athletic brand, New Balance, launched its inaugural flagship store in Thailand on September 30 with a fantastic celebration at CentralWorld, one of Bangkok’s premier shopping destinations. The launch event was a memorable day for both sneaker lovers and sports fans, featuring interesting activities and appearances by leading artists.

New Balance, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, has a presence in more than 130 countries and a network of over 3,000 retail stores globally. For over 75 years, its line-up of sporting goods has been proudly manufactured in New England, USA and Flimby, UK.

Fans of the brand should head for the third floor of CentralWorld to visit the New Balance flagship store, run by MAP Active Adiperkasa Ltd. Judging from the interest for the grand opening event, it’s set to become one of the Thai capital’s most sought-after retail spots.

In the first photo above you will see Mr. Deepak Tomar, the Country General Manager and Director for Thailand at MAP Active Adiperkasa (Thailand) Ltd., who stated: “Thai fans are happy for the good news regarding New Balance. Our first flagship store at CentralWorld marks a crucial step for the brand to reach out to all of our customers based in Thailand”.

Mr. Tomar further added at the event: “I am truly confident that this new flagship store will become another milestone in brand presentation and customer experience”. It was quite the show that New Balance put on, with crowds of shoppers excited over what they saw.

Attendees were greatly impressed by the mini concert of Proxie, a well-known T-Pop boy band famous for their chart-topping hits and pulsating live performances, and DJ Fame’s hip-hop sets also went down well, creating a chilled ambience amongst everyone there.

The new store provides a comprehensive, head to toe range of sports products, covering both performance and lifestyle categories, including the iconic MADE in U.S.A. collection. Sport fashion enthusiasts will be buzzing for this accessible and enjoyable new concept.
