Ascott Thonglor Bangkok’s Luxurious Serviced Apartments

Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is located in the ever-trendy Thonglor neighborhood of the city, offering a variety of 451 hotel rooms and serviced apartments with studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom options. The property is ideally positioned, near to the very best restaurants, bars, and nightclubs in Bangkok’s dynamic tourist area, Sukhumvit.

The Ascott Limited has created a true “home away from home” experience for the guests of its recently opened Ascott Thonglor Bangkok: the spacious apartments are stylish and comfortable, complemented by superb facilities including a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Close to the city’s expressway network, and just a short walk from BTS Thong Lo Skytrain station, both short-stay and long-stay guests have the ideal base for their time in the Thai capital, a city noted for its outstanding cuisine, historical landmarks, and warm hospitality.

Enjoy a Relaxing Stay in the Comfort of Your Own Home

The accommodations at Ascott Thonglor Bangkok have been plushly-appointed, enriched by the high-quality fixtures and furnishings which feature throughout. I was excited for the opportunity to check into a 60m2 One-Bedroom Premier apartment with incredible views.

A fantastic space for extended business stays or relocations, these alluring living quarters have swanky furniture, well-equipped kitchenettes, en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs and showers, alongside cozy living and dining areas. I was impressed by how comfortable the bed was: the perfectly-cushioned mattress and silky-soft sheets were extremely relaxing.

You can see the living/dining area in the photo below, that gives you an idea of the comfy ambience of the apartment. It features a 2-seater sofa and a 4-seater dining table, as well as a kitchenette boasting a washing machine, a microwave oven and a large refrigerator.

Bespoke luxury comes as standard at Ascott Thonglor Bangkok, exemplified by the lavish bathrooms in every apartment and room: I was over the moon with their eco-friendly bath products, hair dryer, shaving mirror, weighing scale, and also an Ascott-branded bathrobe and slippers set. Marble tiles throughout the bathroom add to its charming, elegant look.

There was little chance of becoming bored during my stay at the residence, as I was able to make use of two large LED TVs, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom, along with a host of cable TV channels. The balcony with its panoramic view was also a nice touch.

Ascott is committed to keeping guests safe and comfortable by having the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness standards at their properties. In addition to rigid Ascott Cares commitments, they have also provided free, 24/7 on-call wellness and security support.

Friendly, Attentive Service and Outstanding Facilities

I was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly dedicated and hard-working team that Ascott Thonglor Bangkok has put together. Nothing is too much trouble for their service-minded staff, who make every effort to ensure patrons have everything they could possibly need.

Wishing to check out all of the facilities, the receptionists organized for someone to show me around their fitness center and swimming pool, both of which appeared very enticing. It is an impressive gym comprised of a spacious, open area with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping views over the city skyline, featuring premium Life Fitness equipment.

Fitness fanatics shall absolutely love the extensive array of cardio machines and weights, consisting of both free weights and resistance equipment. There are also elliptical cross trainers, treadmills, along with two variations of exercise bikes – upright and recumbent.

Spending an afternoon poolside is the perfect way to cool down from Bangkok’s extreme heat. The 31-meter-long pool at Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is great for aquatic workouts: if swimming lengths isn’t your thing, take a refreshing dip in between sunbathing sessions.

The residents’ lounge is also recommended, presenting you with the chance of spending some quiet time away from the bustling metropolis. I also enjoyed using their free shuttle bus service, travelling to Ekkamai BTS station and other nearby areas, from 8am to 4pm.

Later this month, the property’s main dining outlet will open, ready to serve a selection of Japanese, Western and Thai cuisines: KINKI commences operations on October 15 when guests can savour the daily international breakfast buffet at the venue. Lunch and dinner options include Japanese chef’s table and a-la-carte menus, available from November 4.

Another wonderful facility available to residents and guests is the children’s playroom, as you can see in the photo above. Little ones are sure to have a memorable playtime: they have so many toys and games on-hand to grab their attention, which goes a long way to inspiring any youngster’s imagination and creativity, and keeping them well-entertained.

If you would like a comfortable, convenient place to stay in Bangkok for a couple of days, or perhaps even a couple of months, then Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is the name to have at the top of your list. Their serviced apartments and hotel rooms tick all the right boxes.
