Hyatt Regency Resort in Koh Samui Set To Have July Launch

The new Hyatt Regency Koh Samui comes as the ideal getaway for those who want to forget the city’s bustle for a while.

This majestic complex has 140 guestrooms decorated with turquoise and sand touches that match the island’s landscapes, including 24 spacious suites with private balconies or decks with plunge pools.

It’s located on a private stretch of shoreline just north of Chaweng Beach, so most of its areas offer stunning east-facing views of the Gulf of Thailand.

The beautiful complex also promises to house the “largest pool area on the island,” an enviable space with five free-form pools that flow down to the beach and four venues to dine both indoors and outdoors.

The design of the stunning space was born from the union of three prominent design companies with outstanding portfolios: The Office of Bangkok Architects, August Design, and P Landscape.

The Hyatt Regency Koh Samui will open its doors shortly before the island launches its tourism initiative on July 15. The Koh Samui sandbox will allow tourists to travel to the island without quarantine and take sealed routes to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao for a 14-day stay before being allowed to travel elsewhere in Thailand.

To mark the long-awaited opening, the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui offers travelers a limited “plan your adventure” package.

Guests who purchase it and stay two nights can get a free third night if they book through the resort’s website. The offer is valid from the opening, July 5, to September 30, 2021.

Rates start at 4,000 baht/night (3,800 baht/night for World of Hyatt members).
