Meliá Hotels Shall Soon Open 260-Key Hotel in Chiang Mai

Meliá Chiang Mai will open its doors in 2021!

The majestic 260-key city hotel towering over the Ping River and bustling Night Bazaar in the heart of Chiang Mai, in the mountainous north of Thailand, is scheduled to start operating during the fourth quarter of the following year.

It will comprise a 22-story tower with an adjoining seven-floor podium and will be located six kilometers from Chiang Mai International Airport on Charoen Prathet Road.

Meliá Chiang Mai, a five-star hotel, is owned by Thailand’s leading integrated lifestyle real estate group Asset World Corporation (AWC) and launched by Meliá Hotels International. It comes as part of the Meliá brand’s roll-out in key destinations across Thailand.

The hotel’s design pays homage to the history and culture of the northern province with a contemporary style.

It will have two restaurants, two bars, an executive lounge on the 21st floor with panoramic views, a fully-equipped fitness center, a swimming pool, Meliá’s signature YHI Spa with seven treatment rooms, a ballroom, a second living room, and four other meeting spaces. Both business and leisure travelers alike will enjoy Meliá Chiang Mai’s facilities.

The property has an upgraded level of service and benefits of exclusive access called The Level.

It has 38 rooms and six suites, as well as spaces to enjoy an upgraded breakfast and afternoon delicacies that are suited for informal business meetings as well. Besides, it will have the city’s highest 360-degree rooftop bar on the top floor, offering spectacular views of the Ping River.

The hotel will also pay tribute to the famous gastronomy of Spain, drawing inspiration from the origins of Meliá, and it will be placed on the province’s culinary map with two exquisite gastronomic options.
