BDMS Wellness Clinic and Minor Collaborate on Tourism Project

BDMS Wellness Clinic and Minor Hotels have teamed up to expand their client base and help to boost Thailand’s economy in the tourism and leisure sector, post-pandemic.

To achieve that goal, the two firms plan to launch a preventive health center at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, nestled on the banks of the majestic Chao Phraya River.

Wellness tourism has become more popular as health-conscious tourists have looked for options which meet their specific needs. According to the BDMS Wellness Clinic CEO Dr. Tanupol Virunhagarun, it is considered the future of Thailand’s medical tourism industry.

BDMS Wellness Clinic, a specialist in preventive and personalized medicine, sees great potential in the sector’s growth and has joined forces with Minor Hotels, the major hotel operator with more than 535 locations and 75,000 rooms in total, to respond to tourists’ demand for restorative trips that are intended to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Marking this collaboration, the new BDMS Wellness Clinic Retreat has been launched at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, which is located in the Thonburi area of Bangkok.

The facility is situated amidst a lush tropical garden in a riverside setting: the Preventive Health Care Center provides various ways for guests to connect with nature while they receive expert medical treatments and advice from the retreat’s professional team.

BDMS are a top name in the world of healthcare, as well as preventive and personalized medicine. The resort’s fantastic location and relaxing atmosphere is a perfect match with this, so this new project is well-placed to give health-conscious guests the opportunities they need to restore their health in the most effective way while traveling or on holiday.

To celebrate the opening of the retreat, recently the Health and Wellness Summit 2022 was held at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort’s Chao Phraya Ballroom. Several topics were discussed during the event including:

  • The keys to long-lasting brain health by Professor Keith L Black, the world-renowned neurosurgeon with expertise in brain disease and how to optimize brain health over the years to prevent conditions like Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or Parkinson’s Disease

  • Silver Age: Exercise Pills and Balanced Nutrition by an expert in neurology and spinal injuries, sports medicine, and integrated lifestyle medicine

  • Healthy Eating & Wellness Trend by Dr. Tanupol Virunhagarun, a regenerative doctor with experience in lifestyle medicine and anti-aging treatments
