T-OSH Organizes the ‘OSH Avenue International Conference 2023’

The Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (T-OSH), that operates under the Ministry of Labour, hosted the esteemed OSH Avenue International Conference (OAIC) on May 19th and 20th, 2023. The event was held at the popular True Digital Park in Bangkok.

Under the theme ‘Foresight for Safety: Creating Safer and Healthier Lives’ the conference strived to drive forward-thinking advancements, and facilitate knowledge exchange in the domain of safety and occupational health, in relation to Thailand and all around the world.

A thoughtfully selected lineup of keynote speakers from various government, private, and international agencies delved into this subject matter. In addition, the event was a chance for those attending to join activities including presentations on workplace safety systems, and a forum where security professionals exchanged their knowledge within the industry.

Promoting Safety, Collaboration, and Knowledge Exchange

There was tremendous anticipation for the two-day gathering as Mr. Suthi Sukosol, a well-known political official from the Secretariat of the Prime Minister, who is also working with the Ministry of Labour and is a representative of the Minister of Labour, presided over the opening ceremony. Discussion of Ideas With Speakers From Various Agencies

Miss Buppa Punpeng, the Director of Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (T-OSH), sincerely hoped that the ‘OSH Avenue International Conference’ might stimulate the exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience, technology as well as safety innovations.

This collaborative effort is a certain step forward in elevating the quality of life for workers to meet international standards while also establishing a system that is focused on safety, occupational health, and the promotion of a sustainable working environment. The event welcomed many speakers from various government, private, and international agencies.

Among them were illustrious organizations such as the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, the Thai Health Promotion Organization, Nation-Building Institute International, as well as leading universities like Chulalongkorn University, and Khon Kaen University.

There were representatives of the Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association (JISHA), the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA), as well as the UN associated International Labour Organization (ILO), all contributing to the success of this conference.

Furthermore, other organizations, agencies, and educational institutions joined in with the event by showcasing their academic work on workplace safety systems.
