Winner of Miss Thailand 2024 Promises To Promote Self-Worth

The 55th Miss Thailand title has been awarded to a young woman from Chiang Mai. The 2024 beauty contest featured 34 participants, with the final round taking place on Sunday evening at MCC Hall in The Mall Ngamwongwan.

Panida Khueanjinda, a 28-year-old alumna of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Chiang Mai, has been declared the winner. Her experience in beauty pageants includes clinching the Miss Grand Nakhon Phanom title in 2022.

For her victory, Panida receives the esteemed “Sai Yai Phuk Phan” crown provided by GODDIAMONDS, along with the official wand and bouquet.

Additionally, she is awarded 800,000 baht in cash, a one-year complimentary stay in an Asset Wise condo, and various other prizes courtesy of sponsors.

During the question-and-answer round, Panida was asked, “If you were crowned Miss Thailand, how would you use this prestigious title to drive change, and why?”

She replied, “I would like to drive change by promoting self-worth. While some may see it as a small matter, it is significant for those who feel defeated. I want to tell everyone that when we allow ourselves to be happy, we truly become authentic.”

Pornsirikul Puata from Prachuap Khiri Khan was named the first runner-up, with Athitiya Benjapak from Nakhon Ratchasima as the second runner-up.

Throughout the upcoming year, Miss Thailand 2024 will dedicate herself to charitable work, aiming to represent the essence of a modern Thai woman.

Her duties include advocating for basic education across Thailand, serving as a cultural ambassador, and supporting tourism enhancement.

The next Miss Thailand pageant in 2025 is scheduled to be held in Chon Buri.
