Ronaldo and Juventus Now Working Towards Parting Ways

Juventus are looking for a buyer who is willing to purchase their star player Cristiano Ronaldo during this summer transfer window.

Ronaldo had an impressive season scoring 29 goals in 33 games for Juventus in Serie A and also won the 2020 Euro Golden Boot with five scored goals for Portugal.

Still, both sides are leaning towards parting ways since the club wants to unload Ronaldo’s €400.000 per week from their wage bill and the phenomenon who is soon edging closer to the age of 37 wants to play his last seasons with a club with the highest ambitions.

According to Italian media who closely follow what’s going on in Torino, both the team and Ronaldo are searching for a situation that suits both sides.

“Outside the official narrative, which obeys an obvious etiquette, it is clear to everyone that Juventus and Ronaldo have been waiting for a buyer able to free them from their respective constraints,” says the La Repubblica website.

“It follows that Juve scores more or less always the same goals, whoever their main striker is since they always choose them well.”

There are very few clubs that can afford to land Ronaldo and Real Madrid is one of them.

A return to former to his former club has been mentioned with agent Jorge Mendes said that a contact has been made with Real’s management.

Anyway, Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed speculation linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to the club.

Surprisingly, the 62-year-old manager went to Twitter to express his opinion on the situation with Ronaldo.

“Cristiano is a Real Madrid legend and he has all my love and respect. I have never considered signing him. We look forward. #HalaMadrid,” he wrote.

Ronaldo joined Real in 2009 and went on to score a club record 450 goals in 438 games over nine seasons on ‘Santiago Bernabeu’.
